Gender and Women's Studies at The University of Arizona looks forward to admitting a world class cohort of doctoral students in Fall 2018.

To prepare ourselves for an outstanding group of new doctoral student in fall 2018, we are pausing admission for one year and will not be accepting Ph.D. applicants for Fall 2017.  We are, however, accepting applications for admission into the MA/JD joint degree program with the James E. Rogers College of Law for Fall 2017.  (Students must simultaneously apply and be admitted into the James E. Rogers College of Law.)

Gender and Women's Studies at The University of Arizona is at the cutting edge of interdisciplinary feminist research and curriculum, with world-renouned faculty in areas such as:

The Department of Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Arizona offers four different types of graduate degrees:

•    Ph.D. in Gender & Women’s Studies
•    MA/JD joint degree in conjunction with the James E. Rogers College of Law
•    Graduate Certificate
•    Ph.D. Minor
