Honoring Native American Women of Arizona

Please join us for the dedication of an Arch in the Women's Plaza of Honor,
located near the Arizona State Museum at the West Entrance to campus
University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ

Friday, April 13th, 2012
2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Public Welcome

Please join us at the dedication of the Native American Women's Arch, celebrating the lives and accomplishments of women from each of Arizona's Tribal Nations.

The full list of honorees can be found here on the Women's Plaza of Honor website.

The ceremony will include a blessing song for honorees, musical performance by Gabriel Ayala, and speeches by Tohono O'odham Chairman Ned Norris, Jr., Arizona Board of Regents member LuAnn Leonard, and UA President Eugene Sander. Light refreshments will be provided.
