Courses include “Gender in a Transnational World,” “U.S. Third World Feminisms,” “Latina/o Pop: Race, Gender, Sexuality & Popular Culture,” and “Queer Cinema,” as well as cross-listed courses throughout the University that allow students to develop a unique course of study.
GWS courses encourage independent study, strong written and oral communication skills, group work, community interaction for hands-on learning, and research in multiple formats (print, visual, online, etc.).
