Dr. Derrais Carter Awarded a Prestigious NEH Fellowship Award

Our colleague and community member, Dr. Derrais Carter, has been awarded a prestigious NEH Fellowship Award to support his book project "Blaxpoitation! A Narrative History". 

This honor is part of NEH’s Faculty Program for HSIs. These are extremely competitive, and according to the official awards notice published by NEH today— the only award to University of Arizona, and one of only three in all of Arizona from NEH across all programs this cycle.
