Maura Beste was selected from among a pool of outstanding Ph.D. students to receive a Russell J. and Dorothy S. Bilinski Fellowship for 2025-2026!! Maura’s dissertation, “Bite Me: Power, Violence, and Human-Canine Flourishing in American Bite Sports,” theorizes human-canine interactions.
